This is Asuncion...the capital city of Paraguay.
Its probably the largest city of Paraguay as well.

This is Itaipú...Paraguay has this hydroelectric power station together with Brazil. (To the right is Brazil and to the left is Paraguay)
It has about 20 turbins of which Paraguay just uses 1 turbine and Brazil 19 just for Sao Paolo. its actually the biggest hidroelectric power station in the world:-)

This is the Palacio de López. Its the palace of the president.
Actually the gouvernment palace. The actually president is Nicanor D. Frutos.
I was told that this palace is the most beautyful gouvernment palace in whol Latin America.

Yesterday I went with the swissfriends who came to visit Uruguay and me to a little town in the inside of the country. Its called Minas and its about 2 hours busdrive away from Montevideo. We stayed there just for a day and it was cool. The town has nothing speciall to offer, but there are many places around the town, which are visited by many people during the whole year. You have camping places, cascades, ranches, hills, etc. Its a nice area. We went to a place called "Arequita" We got there with a bus from Minas and we climbed a little hill or mountain, however you want to call it, and we also visited the camping area...and it was fun. Another funny thing was that we got back to Minas by hitch hiking cars, because we wanted to save money...hehehe. And because I was travelling with two swissgirls we got a car or at least something like that pretty soon...It was a really old car with two kind of punk drivers...but it was a cool drive...and we took our bus back to Montevideo.

The area around the hill...just empty fields and camps... Its really nice, but Im acostumed to see forests and stuff like that in Paraguay and when I see this, I just think what happened here?!
Was this always like this or this all human made?! Anyways... you can just chill on top the hill and feel like you were above everybody...hehehe

This is the hill we climbed.
It was fun to climb this hill.
And even though its just a small one
it has a great, far wide, view...
hehehe

And yes, thats me on the top of the hill. It was so nice there.
And ya...

Restaurant called "El Ombú"
We had lunch here...

Ok, the next few picutres you will see are from my visit to my relatives in Buenos Aires Argentina. It was just short time, but I really enjoyed the time there.

Dont Cry for me Argentina...ya ya I know...

dont say anything...ahaha. But anyways this is part of the city called Buenos Aires...

And even though Argentina is the most hated country by many in South-Amerika, I like it.

This would be the river I was talking about.
Its the tigre river or in spanish...el tigre.

oh yes thats me...hahaha
Well, this was my first day in Buenos Aires
and it was raining. That was kind of sad, but
we went out with the car and we visited this open air market, wich is really famous over there.
The place is called el Tigre.
And the river behind me has the same name.

The biggest Avenue in Buenos Aires.
Its the 9th of July avenue

Asado in Argentina....yummie....
Well I know its not so much meat,
but it was just my fathers cousin eating
it. So we fixed it all...yeah.

I know its kind of a fake picture,
but its always difficult to get a nice picutre during the night.
So I tryed it at least...Ha.
Well, ya this is Buenos Aires during night...
I traveled from Montevideo, Uruguay to Colonia. Colonia is a city in Uruguay, wich is pretty close to Buenos Aires. And from Colonia I traveled with the ferry to Argentina. It was about a three hour trip. It was pretty intresting.
